Imagine a cozy family biz, tucked away in the lush Blue Ridge Mountains, right by the dazzling Smith Mountain Lake. That's us, a duo of mother and son, driven by our love for all things natural, holistic and eco-friendly. 2020 had more in store for us than we ever imagined. After taking the leap and homeschooling, we dove headfirst into the craft world. Our quest for the perfect personal care items, made with cold-pressed unrefined oils and minus any icky synthetic emulsifying waxes, led us down a bumpy path. We couldn't find any "natural" products that aligned with our standards. So, we decided to take matters into our hands and create our own, that are as real as the Blue Ridge Mountains. Which was great because we were able to chuck it full of whatever we wanted. Including: Sea Moss, clays, and other plants, we didn't have to decide between one or the other and we were able to add as much as we wanted to get a therapeutic effect. Packed in every bar of soap is half an ounce of Sea Moss gel, along with a half TBS of clay and other plant powders. We're all about the plants and minerals at our company, but we do have a soft spot for beeswax in a few of our products. We take our quality control very seriously and are super proud of our process. It all starts with the finest ingredients, cold pressed oils and our low-heat formula technique to keep things tip-top. Our secret sauce is to mix small batches using glass or stainless steel, gently warming the liquid oils before cooling things down by then adding the butters and coconut oil. get the crème de la crème of the quality goodies. It's a meticulous and magical little dance that we take seriously, so you can enjoy only the best of the best. The Journey Back to Wholeness has been a compelling one, and we've gained critical insights from our connections with the natural world. We've learned about the importance of using the right ingredients on our bodies and hair. Our body is indeed full of hair, and even the inside of our stomach has hair, which helps in receiving information from the environment. However, synthetic emulsifying waxes could interfere with this transmission by leaving a coating on our skin and hair. As a result, most creams and conditioners do not genuinely soften the skin and hair but instead create a false impression of softness by providing a superficial layer.
